We are not entirely satisfied with the recent free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers to say the least. Sony managed to top it with a minor error in 2016’s first stack of free games for the subscribers. PlayStation Europe’s Twitter account announced that they screwed up with one of the games.
Originally, the gave the PlayStation Vita owners a PlayStation Portable game, namely Legends of War: Patton’s Campaign, which is obviously a glaring error on Sony‘s end. (No reason was given, which is a somewhat terrible PR move.) They have already replaced that game with History: Legends of War, which is a PS Vita game for the subs to pick up and play.
While it’s a respectable move to replace the wrong game with a proper one (especially if you consider that Sony and the first-party devs don’t give much support to the PS Vita anymore), it’s a huge mistake nevertheless. After this, trying to trademark the Let’s Play term is just the icing on that cake.
Heads-up PS Plus members – Legends of War: Patton’s Campaign (PSP) was mistakenly included in January’s Monthly Games.
