You Can’t Stream Bioshock: The Collection On Consoles!

Bioshock: The Collection, which contains the three games, as well as all their DLCs, can’t be streamed on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

We talk about the basic streaming functions that the consoles have, not the external capture device way. For some reason, you can’t stream anything around Rapture or Columbia, and this issue was confirmed by 2K in a post, but they didn’t give an explanation. There’s a twist, though.

While it’s common to see both the PS4 and the X1 not stream cutscenes or menus, the Bioshock games were heavily promoted with Let’s Play videos (we wrote about them, too and you can watch the videos here!), which means we might see an 180° turn here from 2K.

We don’t even know if this decision was intentional or there’re some technical problems, but 2K‘s mentality seems to point to the former option.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
