PlayStation 4 Receives A New Firmware

Sony didn’t leave the 4.0 as the most recent one for long – they came out with a new system update.

After the large 4.0 improvement (which brought many things, including HDR for every PlayStation 4s), the 4.01 update doesn’t raise eyebrows. The 297.6-megabyte firmware has the typical patch note: „this system software update improves the quality of the system performance.” That comment isn’t a lot, and we never get more than that most of the time.

Thankfully, the update isn’t large, so even in a worst-case scenario, you could get it downloaded overnight while your PS4 is in standby mode. In case your console didn’t download 4.01 yet, do so in a coffee break.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
