Taking… adult pictures is not always the best idea in the new Ubisoft game.
On the NeoGAF forums, Goron2000 shared his story. He received Watch Dogs 2 on Saturday night due to a mistake on Amazon Prime Now’s end. He started playing the game as normal, until he had a little accident on Sunday night, knocking a few female NPCs out via a gas pipe blowout. They are… fully modeled under the clothes, and he decided to take a photo, share it to Twitter and Watch Dogs’ forums.
On Monday night, he got an unexpected email from Sony: he got banned from PlayStation Network for a week due to „content of an adult or sexual nature.” Goron2000 added that he got cut off from a game that heavily uses online features, making it potentially much better than the first Watch Dogs.
Let’s add the fact that the game itself contains the genitalia. The player is not responsible for their creation – the whole scenario is just a harmless joke, no more. Perhaps banning for this photo is not the best solution.
That’s what Ubisoft thought, too – their statement sent to Kotaku says that this NPC will be „consistent with others.” That sentence means there will be no genitalia – they will be patched out of the game later this week.
Ubisoft said no to sexuality, too.
