Crash won’t be alone when it comes to jumping over to the PlayStation 4 from the PS1.
Feisar. Mirage. Piranha. Auricom. Just four names that have tied together with the WipEout franchise throughout the history. The Omega Collection will contain three games: Fury, 2048, and HD, and it will cost 40 dollars/euros. When will it launch? On June 6 in North America, and on June 7 in Europe, respectively. 1080p on PlayStation 4, 4K in PlayStation 4 Pro, 60 frames per second, fully remastered sound effects, twenty-eight licensed songs from The Prodigy through Chemical Brothers to Swedish House Mafia, and nine game modes. Pointless trivia: the trailer doesn’t tell you the release date, you’d have to look for that in the video description on YouTube – lol. Pre-ordering will net you a dynamic theme.
The game will contain a local, split-screen multiplayer (take notes, developers), as well as an online multi with up to eight players total.
June will be the month of remasters: it starts with WipEout, and it ends with Crash.
