Sony is officially testing the waters in the US with their own TV cloud service: PlayStation Vue. It will be available only in New York, and then will be expanded to other US cities in 2015.

PlayStation Vue will not require a setup fee. All that’s needed is a broadband connection, TV, and a PS4 or PS3.

According to USA Today, when the service launches later this month, a free trial will be included through the application. An iPad version of the app will be available at a later date.
