The SNES Classic Is Already Hacked! [VIDEO]

Polygon and Eurogamer both report how the little Super Nintendo is already modified.

This scenario was expected to happen – previously we already wrote about how DigitalFoundry reported that the SNES Classic‘s hardware is the same as last year’s NES Classic, which also got hacked since then. This time, a little more than a week (!) was needed to make your console take custom games with the help of a PC and a USB cable.

Polygon recommends Hakchi2 to modify the original game line-up, which itself isn’t that bad, to be fair. However, a few veterans likely have a few games that they like and are not included in the default game list.

Same time, same place in a year with the little N64? We’d bet money on it!

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
