E-801809A8. This is the error that Sony wants to defeat.
This error message doesn’t allow some PlayStation 4-users to update their console to the latest firmware, which, according to WCCFTech‘s report, is due to a faulty Blu-ray drive. That’s a little… awkward.
If we can believe a user on the PlayStation forums, we may expect a new firmware that will address this issue in less than a week. He asked on October 10, and he got „in less than one week” as a reply by one of the customer support members of Sony.
Let it happen as soon as possible, but we have to point out the fact that it all happens due to a faulty Blu-ray drive. How on Earth did this issue slip through the beta test?
