From A Netflix Series To A Video Game: Narcos Is Getting A Game Adaptation! [VIDEO]

While Narcos‘ fourth season is in production, a game adaptation was also announced.

Curve Digital announced that Kuju (who mostly were involved in helping other projects, such as the re-release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1-2, and they also made games like Powerstar Golf and other minor titles) is already developing the adaptation of the Netflix crime drama series. Its story is based on a guy called Pablo Escobar, who happened to be a drug lord in Colombia…

There’s not a lot to discuss, though: the game should be available from Spring 2019 on PC and „consoles”: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch. Will it be capable of escaping the trap of licensed games? Most series/movie-to-game adaptations tend to be average at best, but there are a few exceptions to the rule, though.

We’re waiting for more details. Will it be a GTA clone?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
