Is Prince Of Persia Making A Return?

Ubisoft might be testing our feedback with a detour…

AllGamesDelta on Twitter linked to a ResetEra forum topic, claiming that Prince of Persia, which has been in Ubisoft‘s possession for 1.5 decades or so, might be coming back. This notion is also supported by Jeuxvideo-Live, a French news site, too.

Ubisoft might have intentionally rolled Sam Fisher, the protagonist of Splinter Cell, into Ghost Recon: Wildlands – they could be looking for feedback to see if there’s an interest in us for a new Sam Fisher game. Now, the prince of Persia might show up in For Honor.

That GIF does look like a sword that we can imagine in Prince of Persia. Jordan Mechner, the father of the franchise, might finally get a chance to work on a brand new PoP game shortly. If Beyond Good & Evil is making a return, why not give an opportunity for Prince of Persia, too?

Maybe Ubisoft isn’t just collaborating its franchises for no reason…

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
