It goes both ways: during Square Enix‘ E3 „presentation” (just a bunch of trailers…), a Final Fantasy XIV X Monster Hunter World collab was confirmed (Rathalos and Felynes from Monster Hunter are hopping over to the PlayStation 4 and PC MMORPG this summer), and Capcom is returning the favor!
This collaboration means that from Final Fantasy XIV, Behemoth is taking a jump to Monster Hunter World, which launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One roughly half a year ago (with the PC port coming this autumn). With this move, the two Japanese publishers try to make their games sell better than before (although both titles are successful, and Monster Hunter World made the franchise known in the West as well…).
When will the Behemoth arrive? In the latest Monster Hunter Radio, Ryozo Tsujimoto, the producer of Monster Hunter World, said that the monster would be added with the game’s August update. The first gameplay will be shown on July 15.
The collaboration won’t stop.
