The news is coming from gameindustry.biz and the incident has happened only some days ago.
The mentioned incident first emerged when Amber Peterson, the mother of a seven-year-old tried to warn other parents on Facebook. In her post, she wrote that two male people assaultad her daughter’s avatar, just before another famle joined them.
Next to the story she included some pictures as well and based on those pictures one of the man even made a virtual penis in Roblox just to harass the young girl. Of course, Roblox’s spokeperson responed and in an interview with BBC, he told them that they already banned the responsible players.
Gameindustry.biz wanted to get some more info about the situation, so they contacted the mother and the Roblox team. The mother said that they set the security settings of the game to maximum but it wasn’t enough, while the Roblox team reassured everyone that they permanently banned the responsible players and they have zero tolerance to things like this.
By the way, it’s not the first that something like this happens. For example, in last month a six-year-old girl was invited to join an online sex room in Roblox.
