There’s a possibility that Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio’s game won’t even keep the April 2019 release date either.
SegmentNext reports that the PlayStation Store now lists Days Gone‘s release date as December 31, 2019, instead of April 26. Pre-ordering is also disabled. Why would the Japanese company do such a thing if they already gave an exact release date (which got delayed to another one) for the game that was announced at E3 2016?
It’s possible that SIE Bend‘s game still needs time to be polished, which means Days Gone could become Sony‘s Crackdown 3 – Microsoft announced that game at E3 2014, and it seems to finally hit the stores in February on Xbox One and Windows 10.
Let’s hope it’s just a minor mistake in the system, but it doesn’t seem unlikely, as the pre-ordering is disabled. It’s ridiculous – we can’t say anything else if Days Gone ends up getting yet another delay.
