Deathloop: What Is Zenimax Planning?

ZeniMax, the owners of Bethesda, filed a trademark for a new name. What will it be?

On December 26, at the American USPTO, ZeniMax filed a trademark for Deathloop under the „goods/services” category, which means it could be a mobile, online game, but since this is all the information we officially know about Deathloop at the moment, we can only guess.

This project could be a game that doesn’t see the light for several more years. With Starfield, the trademark was filed in 2013, five years before Bethesda showed its teaser at its E3 press conference! However, let’s also not forget that Bethesda has opened a mobile-focused studio in Montreal in 2015…

We should also explain the term death loop – it’s a scenario where you press quicksave just as you are about to die. (It has happened to us way too many times!) When you reload, you find yourself dying almost immediately. Quick load, death, quick load, death, causing a loop…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
