Capcom‘s game that came out two and a half weeks ago is selling well, which means it’s likely going to claim a spot on the company’s best-seller charts in April.
The PlayStation Blog revealed that the remake of the 1998 PS1 survival horror was the best-selling game on the PlayStation Store in January in Europe, beating Grand Theft Auto V, FIFA 19, Need For Speed: Payback (how is it this high?), Playerunkown’s Battlegrounds, Kingdom Hearts III (and how is it this low?), The Sims 4: Deluxe Party Edition, The Forest, Rocket League, and Battlefield V. The American list is significantly different (Kingdom Hearts III, Resident Evil 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII, Madden NFL 19, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Red Dead Redemption 2, FIFA 19, Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition, Battlefield V), as Kingdom Hearts claimed the top spot across the pond…
In case you miss the original user interface from 1998, we have a solution for you on PC at least. Crazy Potato’s mod, which can be downloaded here, carries over several things from the original, including the old logo, the save icons, the retro health bar with the heartbeats, and more.
So Resident Evil 2 is getting a ton of mods (putting DMX in the game after Mr. X, first-person mod, fixed camera angles…).
