Watch Dogs Legion 3: Watch Dogs 3 Leaked!

A round of applause for Amazon UK, they managed to uncover one announcement: Watch Dogs Legion, even though we knew about it for months.

Let’s see the official synopsis of Watch Dogs Legion, which we can also call Watch Dogs 3 as well, as the setting is exactly London, which was in the rumours before: „Watch Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes. London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture for centuries… London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest surveillance levels in the world making this the perfect playground.

Play as anyone, Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems.”

Kotaku‘s Jason Schreier confirmed this Amazon UK listing, as he says he has heard this title, as well as the description from multiple sources related to Ubisoft. He thinks that more details will be shown during Ubisoft‘s E3 program. (Obviously.) However, don’t be fooled by the listing, which has since been wiped (too late, as always…) – it only listed Watch Dogs Legion for PlayStation 4, but, like with the first two titles in the series, we can expect an Xbox One and a PC version, too.

However, we’d like to point out one thing from the description: „Play as anyone.” You can control any NPC in Ubisoft‘s game, which is an entirely different approach to what the first two Watch Dogs games had, and thus, the Legion word in the title earns its meaning as well. Think about it: the more NPCs you get to change sides, the easier a totalitarian system can be defeated. (We’re just guessing about it, though.)

So Ubisoft got caught: this will be one of its three unannounced AAA titles that will launch by the end of March 2020.
