The Console Club, a Greek retailer, has been caught, so delisting what they had is pointless.
On ResetEra, we have thankfully found a screenshot which shows The Console Club’s listing, featuring two Assassin’s Creed titles, namely Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag from 2013, and 2014’s Assassin’s Creed Rogue, together as part of a bundle, and the post says they could get remastered. There’s some logic behind this, as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was a cross-gen game in 2013 (it not only came out on PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360, but also the Nintendo Wii U, the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One – the two current-gen consoles got it as a launch title), and 2014’s Assassin’s Creed Rogue first launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (followed by a PC port a few months later; the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One got it in March 2018).
We should believe this listing, as on ResetEra, Daniel Ahmad, Niko Partners’ senior analyst, has effectively confirmed it by saying „Real.”
Today, at 3 PM Pacific, a new Nintendo Direct will be broadcasted. Currently, only Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Pokémon Sword/Shield are confirmed to be part of it, but seeing the timing, we wouldn’t rule out Ubisoft’s games also show up during the Direct, especially how the big N already said that this broadcast will completely be about Nintendo Switch titles. Also, the retailers usually get informed early about new games… or someone had too much ouzo?
According to The Console Club’s listing, the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered bundle would launch on December 6. Since that’s a Friday, and Nintendo likes to release games on that day, it seems plausible. We’ll see in a day.
