Vampire the Masquerade – Shadows of New York: Trailer [VIDEO]

It’s true that Bloodlines 2 has been delayed to 2021, at least here’s the release date for Vampire the Masquerade – Shadows of New York.

A few days ago, fans of the saga were upset with the delay of Bloodlines 2 and, in addition, the sudden dismissal of Brian Mitsoda, head of narrative design who played a decisive role in the success of the original work. Now, to alleviate the wait until 2021, the launch date of a spin-off has been announced.

This is Vampire The Masquerade – Shadows of New York, an interactive novel based on the brand, which expands the world and the story already shown in Coteries of New York, and which is scheduled to launch on September 10 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

It will be an independent story although it will have characters and details from Coteries.

The Polish studio Draw Distance will bring this new work that comes after the aforementioned Coteries of New York, although this time it is an independent story that can be enjoyed without problems, although it does save some Coteries characters and references. Clans of vampires, a current society with all kinds of classes and creatures will be present in a work based on conversations. In the different dialogues in which the adventure is settled, progress will depend on answers and decisions that will lead us to one of the two different endings of the story.

Its creators promise a more personal and dark story, in which they will touch on topics of all kinds, from politics to those in which terror reigns to enter their dark setting.

The Vampire the Masquerade saga continues to grow, and in 2021 the aforementioned Bloodlines 2 and Swansong will arrive, which is basically an RPG.
