Dying Light 2: Stay Human: Focusing On The „Monsters” [VIDEO]

Don’t worry, it’s just Techland using an unusual word in their official marketing.

Indeed, the Polish company calls Dying Light 2: Stay Human‘s zombies as monsters. Well, they are monsters, but we don’t use this word regarding them… but if this is the terminology that Techland seeks to use, then so be it. One of the videos below introduce their types, so they even have names now… but we doubt all of us will call them as such.

The Revenant is the one with spikes on its back, the Demolisher throws rocks at us, the Banshee will be the agile one with a big claw hand, the Howler will be the one you should get rid of first, as it can call for help, and finally, the Volatile can pounce quite hard. There’s also a type that spits acid, and since it has been a tradition for more than two decades (even the earlier Resident Evil games had them), it would have been a mistake to skip them.

The new gameplay trailer features a tense tour throughout a hospital that was overridden by the zombies (pardon us, the monsters…). Multiple enemy types will show up here, including the Sleeping Beauty that is not sleeping, neither a beauty. Aiden Caldwell and his friend want to get a few wristbands here so that they will be alerted if they are about to turn a zombie later. This will require a bit of stealth, but that is also showcased in the video. As long as you don’t make a ruckus and get the attention, you can get away with a lot.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human, unless it gets delayed to 2022, will launch on December 7 on almost everything except for the Nintendo Switch, the iOS, and the Android platforms: it will be on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Techland has said many times that it will be better than the first game in all aspects.
