The DC FanDome is just around the corner, and since the game was unveiled at the same event in 2020, fans have been waiting for news of a new release. Well, finally, Warner Bros. Games has confirmed that we’ll be treated to some exclusive information at this year’s DC FanDome launch on Saturday, October 16 at 7 pm.

The announcement was accompanied by a stunning illustration featuring members of the Batman family, who will be seen roaming the dangerous streets of Gotham. Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood will take on the role of the Batman family, who will be tasked with protecting Gotham from the dreaded villains after Batman’s death.

Gotham Knights will be an original story set in the DC Batman universe. In a city ravaged by crime, a new group of superheroes must solve the city’s darkest mysteries, defeating villains and redefining their vision of the Dark Knight. Gotham Knights are set for release in 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with co-operative gameplay planned for a release year with another big promise from the DC Universe, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
