Crafts & Meister and Bandai Namco’s game lets you build a replica of the mecha (Gunpla) from the Gundam series.

Not only will there be a physical version of Gundam Breaker 4, but there will also be a limited collector’s edition available for $90 on the Bandai Namco Entertainment Store, which will include a Gunbarrel Strike Gundam model set with unique decals, parts and variants, as you can actually build the latest installment in the franchise.

As an aspiring Gunpla hobbyist, players can assemble their own mecha creations using parts from more than 250 iconic Mobile Suits from across the Gundam series, then test their creations on a virtual battlefield with up to three players in cooperative multiplayer. Fight through missions to hack, slash and shoot your way through hordes of enemy Mechs, breaking their parts to collect and upgrade your builds. Gundam Breaker 4 introduces an all-new feature to the series, allowing players to use two different weapons for unique combos as they search for the best parts to build the perfect Gunpla. In between battles, players will have access to a robust Mecha Garage where they can customize their creations with new parts as well as paint, decals, and weathering to create the ultimate Mecha expression for Gundam fans.

Once players have finished building their Gunpla, they can use them in a variety of offline and online missions. Take down bosses or take on hordes of enemy mecha to earn new parts and equip new skills. Another brand-new feature unique to Gundam Breaker 4 is the Diorama Mode. Construct elaborate scenarios with a variety of backgrounds, environmental elements, and special effects, then place each Gundam creation and strike the perfect pose with highly articulated models. You can even share them online.

Gundam Breaker 4 will be released in 2024 for PlayStation 5, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. There will also be a closed network test before release. No Xbox Series and Xbox One versions are known, presumably because Xbox hasn’t really (yet?) set foot in Asia.
