Although Capcom have some big explanation to do with Street Fighter on the PlayStation 4 (we’re talking about it in a different newspiece), they put effort into their other successful franchise, Resident Evil. This is going to make its move towards the PlayStation Vita and very soon, to be honest: Resident Evil Revelations 2, one of the surprisingly good titles of this year – the other one would be the first RE’s HD Remaster – will hit the PSN on August 18 in the United States, but only in digital format!
The port is made by Frima Studio and it will cost 40 dollars. The four main episodes are accompanied by the two bonus episodes: The Struggle shows Moira’s story between Claire’s and Barry’s stories and Little Miss is focusing on Natalia and her supernatural powers.
There’s also going to be a Raid mode with 15 playable characters and over 200 missions – upon release, there will be a 2 player coop, but after a free update, ad hoc will also be possble. It’s a promising port, but sadly, it doesn’t seem like a savior for the Vita…
