MOVIE NEWS – It has been known for some time that the heart of the recently divorced Jason Momoa has been conquered again – now it has also been revealed that the star of Hit Man and Star Wars: Andor is the lucky lady.
Jason Momoa, the star of the Aquaman movies, confirmed his new romance with Adria Arjona, the actress of the Hit Man and Andor series. This week in Japan, Momoa shared intimate photos with his new love. The Aquaman star, 44, who has two children with ex-wife Lisa Bonet, 56, looked delighted as he hugged Adria, 32, at the dinner table and posed with her along the way.
He wrote: “Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind. we’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor.”
The star recently revealed that he is in a relationship. During an appearance at the 2024 Basingstoke Comic Con, he was asked, ‘Are you currently single?’ The star responded, ‘I’m very much in a relationship. You’ll find out very soon. I’ve been in a relationship for a while.’
In 2019, Adria married her old friend, the American lawyer of Puerto Rican origin, Edgardo Canales, but their relationship ended some time ago. Momoa’s last girlfriend was 34-year-old Eiza Gonzalez, who looks remarkably similar to Adria.
In addition to Emerald City (2017), Anathema Device (2019), the actress also appeared in the series Andor (2022), where she played the character of Bix Caleen. Most recently, she appeared opposite Glen Powell in Hit Man (2023), playing his love interest, Maddy Masters.
In January 2024, Jason and Lisa settled their divorce, including custody of their two teenage children and how to divide their assets.
In new court documents obtained by The Blast, the former couple agreed to joint physical and legal custody of their 16-year-old daughter, Lola and 15-year-old son, Nakoa-Wolf.
The divorce was listed as “uncontested”, and both stars have “waived their right” to request or receive spousal support from each other. According to Bonet’s filing, she and the Aquaman star have been living separately since October 2020, just two months after he gifted her a restored 1965 Mustang, his first car.
Despite the alleged date of separation at the end of 2020, the couple did not announce their separation until January 2022.
