SEGA has also given a release date for the cross-generation game, but in this case we see what we see so often in the gaming industry: you can start playing the more expensive edition earlier.
The base edition of the game will cost $50. Digitally, PlayStation-exclusive content includes extended prologue animations with deleted scenes, and those who pre-order will receive the Sonic Adventure skin. An additional pre-order bonus for the retail Day One Edition is the 28-page Gerald Robotnik Diary (same price). The Digital Deluxe Edition is $60 and includes the Season Pass, which allows you to play three days earlier, plus Shadow gets an extra skin and level (due out at the end of the year), but there’s also the Terios skin, an extra background music pack, digital art book and soundtrack, and Sonic Generations Skill Points.

Sonic X Shadow Generations launches on October 25th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. On PC, it uses Denuvo (like all SEGA titles), which was revealed on Steam.
