Gravity Rush was one of the fantastic PlayStation Vita-exclusive titles back in 2012, but Kat seems to have disappeared off the planet since then aside from seeing a teaser for a possible sequel on the Tokyo Game Show a while ago. However, there’s a post on Reddit about experienced Gravity Rush players needed at San Mateo, CA – Vupoint Research would play 125 dollars for the players. Most likely, this is Sony’s plan to give some insight to the sequel, which would get betatested this way, trying to get feedback whether a sequel would be a good idea or not. Shuhei Yoshida has said earlier that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is working on a big title, but he didn’t say what it was – it’s probably Gravity Rush 2.
It’s a surprising sight that Sony didn’t push the first game over to the PlayStation 4, especially after Tearaway pulling this jump off from the handheld to the PS4 – there were rumours about this earlier though, but there are no results of it yet. So we will have to wait and see what happens – maybe Tokyo Game Show will have the sequel’s announcement for us. The PlayStation Vita really requires something big.
