The first gameplay trailer for Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded has just dropped, offering fans a glimpse of what to expect from this new iteration of the popular stealth game. The trailer, which can be viewed above, showcases the game’s fresh cel-shaded art style and highlights the new dual-wielding mechanic that players can look forward to.

 

Exclusively launching on Meta Quest 3, this VR version of Hitman 3 is being developed by XR Games, a UK-based VR studio known for titles like Zombieland: Headshot Fever and Jurassic World Aftermath. The game’s release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, with the trailer only teasing that it’s “coming soon.”

Upon release, Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded will be priced at $29.99 / €27.99 / £22.99, though early adopters can benefit from a 10% pre-order discount.

XR Games has detailed several new features that will be included in this VR version:

  • Dual-Wielding: For the first time in the Hitman series, players can wield two weapons or items simultaneously, adding a new strategic layer to the gameplay.
  • Cel-Shaded Art Style: The game introduces a striking cel-shaded visual style, giving Agent 47 a fresh and dynamic look.
  • Enhanced Interactivity: Players will experience a heightened level of realism with environments that respond to their every move.

In related news, Hitman developer IO Interactive is also working on an officially licensed James Bond game, tentatively titled Project 007, which will explore the origins of the iconic British spy.
