The Witcher 3: resolution and framerate is not the priority

There’s always an occasion when a certain game in the works are confirmed to run on X framerate and on Y frames per second. You can put in several numbers onto those two spots, but this time around, we won’t do it. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt can’t deny the fact that it is absolutely a game of the year contender, despite the fact that it will be out in the first half of the year, on May 19, to be exact.

The game will run on 30 frames per second on consoles. Why? According to Michał Krzemiński (he’s the Senior Art Producer for the game), he thinks that the focus is absolutely not on this. He says that when you play with an RPG, there should be bigger effort in making the world and its characters memorable and not focusing mainly on the framerate and the resolution. Yes, there needs to be time spent on graphics, but the priority is not on that, obviously.

Honestly, this is a great statement from CD Projekt RED…
