This isn’t meant to be an April Fools joke, but this newspiece does relate to April 1. Sony usually updates the European Store on a Wednesday – this is related to the PS Plus lineup as well. However, this is why there is going to be a one week delay, resulting the release of the new Plus games on April 8.

Why is that? This is going to sound stupid, but the US Store is updated on a Tuesday. Now, the Plus games can’t be changed if there is still the last day of the month on a different timezone – so if the EU Store would be updated on April 1, 8 AM GMT, there’d still be March 31 on the west coast of the US, and it’s not allowed. This is why.
