Grand Theft Auto V: Trevor’s Actor Confirms DLC Plans!

It’s now official that the name that appeared earlier was not fiction, and that Rockstar Games was indeed planning to dress one of Grand Theft Auto V’s main characters as an agent…

Steven Ogg was Trevor’s actor in Grand Theft Auto V, which was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 over ten years ago. There was no single player DLC for the game because Rockstar and Take-Two focused more on Grand Theft Auto Online, which made much more money than the planned but canceled single player DLC. One of the DLCs was to be called Agent Trevor, and Rockstar also had two other DLCs planned (one called Zombie Apocalypse and the other Alien Invasion).

Ogg revealed during a Q&A with the crew that Trevor would have worked as an undercover agent for the FBI. They also shot some things with James Bond Trevor. According to Ogg, Trevor would still have been a very problematic character, but he would have tried his best. Then it was all put on hold and Rockstar never returned to the single player DLC plans.

Most of the planned DLC projects ended up being directed towards Grand Theft Auto Online. Grand Theft Auto Online was updated regularly and included story-related additions, while Grand Theft Auto V never received any DLC. Unfortunately, not much is known about the other two DLCs, but the base game had plenty of Easter eggs about the existence of aliens, which may have been Rockstar’s introduction to Alien Invasion. (Zombie Apocalpyse wasn’t really referenced to that extent in Grand Theft Auto V).

Rockstar is now putting all its efforts into Grand Theft Auto VI. The first trailer got over 90 million views in 24 hours, despite the leak. The game will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox sometime in 2025.
