Dead Island 2 was announced back at last year’s E3, but with a new developer. Instead of Techland – who has been working on Dying Light then -, the development went to Yager, mostly known for Spec Ops: The Line. According to the announcement, they planned to hit the stores in the summer of 2015, although their Twitter profile says Spring 2015…
However, a few signs show a delay. First off, the game’s last Twitter post was back in the middle of February, the publisher Deep Silver has no official release date, and rumours say that the game is delayed to the end of this year – even the website says no more than 2015. If the game hits the quality of Spec Ops, then we can nod in enjoyment, but the release is a bit far yet…
Dead Island 2 only arriving at the end of 2015?
