MX vs. ATV: Supercross Encore is in development for PlayStation 4

The latest installment of the duel between motocross bikes and the quads will receive a current generation port too. Nordic Games and Rainbow Games have announced that the 2014 autumn-released MX vs. ATV: Supercross game will receive an updated version – dubbed Encore -, and it will hit the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One by the end of the year. The game is in already Early Access on Steam, and it really has mixed reviews so far.

The game will have higher detailed bikes, a bigger framerate – we’re sitting on the fence about it, usually, most games are running at 30 frames per second, with exceptions -, higher quality textures and so on. This announcement got several brand new screenshots too, which includes the boxart as well. Hopefully, the final version of the game won’t be problematic, because Steam players don’t have good feedback given to the devs yet. Free Ride for everyone – we’ll see how it’s executed at the end of 2015…
