Star Wars: Battlefront – Non-scripted gameplay! [VIDEO]

Someone was very brave to surpass the limitations of that despised embargo. Star Wars: Battlefront was playable at E3, but Electronic Arts and DICE did not allow the players to record anything about the game. However, a Youtuber called CTRGaming still managed to create some secret recordings, resulting in a very nice 17-minute gameplay video about the game, which will arrive in November!

We can’t hear the sound effects and music, because the PlayStation 4s all had headsets at the booth, so we can’t say anything about that. The AT-AT-s all have a predefined route, but they are still allowing the players to use the guns on them.

We can also take a sneak peek at a game mode called Walker Assault, where the Galactic Empire and the Rebels can battle each other in a maximum lineup of 20v20, in mainly a TPS view throughout the matches – with the exception of the TIE Fighters, because we will be able to sit into the cockpit of them and fly in a first person view.

The Stormtroopers are going to have jetpacks, although the gadgets will all have fixed presets: we will not be able to change them. In return, we can switch our guns out during our respawn time – the weapons will be the same on both sides, which is something similar from Battlefield 4, another DICE game. Speaking of weapons, there’s going to be overheating and cooldown times, so you have to consider not to abuse your weapons in a short period of time. The video is great – aside from the quality -, because we can finally see some non-scripted gameplay!
