Guess what will be Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s next novelty!

Although Ubisoft have been pushing a new Assassin’s Creed game each year (making Unity’s launch technically awful, and it’s likely to happen again this year as well), but they didn’t think of sexually differently oriented players so far. …this is going to have the franchise’s first transgender character. Ned Wynert will be one of the quest giving characters, but him being transgender will not affect the story according to creative director Marc-Alexis Côté. The „opening” was already visible earlier, because there are two heroes in the game: the male Jacob and the female Evie Frye. This is a respectable move by Ubisoft.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate release  will happen on consoles on October 23 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One – no prev-gen versions of AC anymore!), followed by the November 19 PC release. Hopefully the retail version will not be as problematic, as the preview copy was rumoured to be…
