[PGW 2015] Crytek is also working on a PlayStation VR title! [VIDEO]

Looks like the dots are now tied… previously, we wrote about how Crytek is working on a new IP. Maybe this is it? During Paris Game Week, Cevat Yerli stepped on the podium and showed off Robinson: The Journey, in development for the PlayStation VR – the inspiration behind it were the two Back To Dinosaur Island VR techdemos.

In it, we get to control a fine gentleman, who crash-landed on a mysterious planet, and he has to discover the nature and environnment, possibly getting in touch with it at every corner. Crytek has the perk of using their own engine, because Robinson will utilize CryEngine.

We will also have a robot collague, who for some weird reason reminds us of PlayStation 4‘s Playroom’s Asobi VR robot. We don’t get to know many things from this trailer – dinosaurs are running past by us, and we will end up running to find a new shelter. (Well, those Back To Dinosaur Island techdemos are having an effect on this game after all.)
Robinson looks mysterious so far, we’re waiting for more details about it.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
