Paris terrorists: The PlayStation 4 was used for communication!

Politico has written a stunning article about Friday’s terrorist attack in Paris. In it, the Belgian Interior Minister, Jan Jambon points out the communicational tools used by the terrorists. He says that they used the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Network to keep in touch with each other! Why? Because it’s not that easy for secret agencies to tap into, resulting in a safer communicational route for the ISIS members.

Even if the secret agencies can tap into their communications, they would still have trouble with deciphering the messages. This means two things: number one, Sony developed a great encrypted communicational tool within PlayStation Network, and two, the PS4‘s sales were helped by the terrorists, as more and more of them use the console to communicate.

The only thing that can help is if Sony gives the world’s secret agencies the required tools to decipher the messages and communication via PlayStation Network… however, it means that the PSN would be tapped by them.
