Star Wars Battlefront: Let’s compare all three versions! [VIDEO]

DigitalFoundry should finally get a big pat on the back because they constantly take their time to get the latest big game releases of the holiday season and either check their framerates or compare the two-three versions if said game is a multiplatform title. They did the same thing with DICE‘s Star Wars Battlefront, which was released on November 17, 2015.

We already know about how the PlayStation 4 version of the game runs on 900p while the Xbox One port performs on 720p to keep the almost constant 60 frames per second going. We can now see the differences between them: but wait, the lighting, he textures, almost everything, including the visual effects, are similar on both consoles! This is respectable, DICE; after all, the game was heavily promoted on the PS4 (which got two bundles too).

The PC version isn’t better in just the resolution, but it also has the Ultra setting for beefy computers, but this was expected to happen anyway. We can now clearly announce that DICE treated both consoles almost equally. Well done.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
