Heavy Rain: The first PS4 images arrived, and they are glorious

Now that the PlayStation 4 port of Beyond: Two Souls is released on the PlayStation Store (including the DLC as well!), we can now concentrate on the other Quantic Dream game while pressing X constantly and screaming Shaun over and over! It’s no surprise to see a few new images taken from the PS4 port of Heavy Rain and let’s face it: these look amazing!

Ethan and Madison received a significant facelift during the jump from the PS3 to the PS4, making this port anything but a lazy, shoddy, cash grab porting work. Probably this game will get the same graphical update treatment as Beyond: Two Souls: improved visual effects, lighting and shadows. That’s a great idea. It looks like the PS4 port will be based upon the 2011 re-release of the original dubbed „Director’s Cut”.

Heavy Rain‘s PlayStation 4 release will happen on March 1, and if you buy Beyond: Two Souls’ port, you will be able to pick this one up at a much lower price according to Sony. Until then, look at these great images below:
