Ace Combat 7 is announced, and with VR support to boot [VIDEO]

Bandai Namco is returning to the Ace Combat franchise, which will receive a new installment soon. Ace Combat 7 was announced on the PlayStation Experience. To make it even better, the game is also going to have PlayStation VR support! However, we don’t know how it will be implemented, but if we had to guess, it’d probably be putting us into the cockpit of the fighter jets. Now that would be an amazing experience!

Ace Combat 7 is going to use Unreal Engine 4 and the trueSKY technology, so it’s going to be up-to-date. With these, the game will have the dogfights and the skies in great visuals, putting these important elements into a nice coat of graphics. We won’t be able to play just offline – the modern-age Red Barons can also go online to fight against other players. Prepare those parachutes, because we will need them!

Project ACES is going up in the sky for the franchise’s 20th anniversary. We will only be able to appreciate their efforts: Ace Combat seems to pick up a serious style again.
