Watch Dogs 2? It’s coming!

Watch Dogs 2 got officially announced by Ubisoft, and it will arrive by April 30, 2017. The Frenchmen are on a roll: yesterday they stated that Assassin’s Creed will take a one-year break to regenerate and return in 2017, and now there’s also another new franchise in development. There’s a new, unannounced IP that will have a strong online component.

Aside from Watch Dogs 2, South Park: The Fractured But Whole will also drop by April 2017. This South Park game is the sequel to The Stick of Truth, announced during last year’s E3. For Ubisoft, the other main games for this year is going to be The Crew, For Honor, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, The Division and the unannounced IP (which will likely get a reveal at E3).

Sales-wise, the PlayStation 4 took the biggest slice of the cake and the European region is also a significant area for Ubisoft. European sales consisted of 43% (which is not that far behind North America’s 46%).

Hopefully, Watch Dogs 2 will not look way uglier than its revealed state.
