Overwatch: PlayStation 4 versus PC comparison [VIDEO]

Thankfully, we don’t have to write about Blizzard‘s multiplayer shooter because of a scandal – last time we had to due to one of the characters having a somewhat sexist pose -, instead, we just have a harmless PlayStation 4 vs. PC comparison by Gamespot.

There seems to be no major difference between the console and the PC version, although the shadows seem to work differently on the two platforms. During character selection, we noticed cel-shading on the PS4 port but none on the PC version – is this intentional? The framerate is going to be a plus on the PC if you have strong enough hardware to run the game, providing that sixty (or even 144) frames per second.

Overwatch will launch on May 24 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it will also receive a beta test three weeks before the release date. Preordering allows you to start the beta two days early. Will Blizzard or Gearbox’s Battleborn win the duel?

Also, there will be a short film called Alive on April 3 – Blizzard wants to expand the game’s universe for us.

She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
