Doom And Quake Co-Creator Teases New Game! [VIDEO]

Previously we wrote about how John Romero started to work on a brand new first-person shooter. Romero was one of the important figures behind the creation of Doom I-II and Quake. (Then, he had a flop with Daikatana.) This time, the fine gentleman is trying to hype us for his upcoming announcement.

Romero uploaded a video to Youtube. It is called „The Return” and its style is reminiscent of Star Wars. The teaser features Adrian Carmack, one of the founders of id Software, walk up to John Romero with a keyboard-mouse duo. At the end of the video, we see a date: April 25. Monday is the day when Night Work Games (the new studio of Romero) will officially reveal their brand new FPS.

The presence of Adrian Carmack makes him suspicious as he might be partaking in the development of Romero’s new game. Let’s see what Monday brings us then – if Romero shows his project, we will be there.
