Max Payne Shoots His Way On To The PlayStation 4!

Remedy Entertainment’s game had introduced us the bullet time mechanic: during combat, Max would die quickly unless he slows down time to get rid of a few bad guys. He will still take a beating, but that is what the painkillers are good for – after taking some pills, he eventually finds out who killed his family, destroying the American Dream in the process…

Indeed, you guessed right: the PlayStation 4 is getting the first Max Payne via PS2 emulation. Recently, the PS2-lineup has been improving massively – just think of Bully and Manhunt that both crept their way onto the current Sony console. The UK PlayStation Store has it available for 12 British Pounds, or 15 Euros in the other European regions. It’s not available in North America yet, which is weird.

We have also heard about rumors that Max Payne 3 might get a PS4 port, but it might not be true. We have to wait and see.

UK readers, head over to the PlayStation Store and grab a copy right here.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
