Electronic Arts and DICE have kept their word, so they officially revealed the brand new Battlefield game. Sure, it’s a few days after the announcement of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, but Activision has their problem with the mass dislikes and negative feedback.
The game’s called Battlefield 1 (we haven’t had a numbered title like that – the first Battlefield was called 1942 almost one and a half decade ago) – because of World War I of course, and it’s going to be out on October 21. A surprising fact: while Call of Duty is going towards the future, Battlefield does the opposite, and they instead move towards the past. A World War I setting! The trailer’s ambiance had exactly what we liked about 1942 in the autumn of 2002 – even if now it’s about World War I…
