A New Batman Game In Development?

Yes, new – we’re not talking about Telltale‘s Batman project, which has been officially confirmed for a while now. Still, superhero games seem to have a comeback recently. Sucker Punch is rumored to work on a PS4 Spiderman game; a Superman game might also be in the works, but what about Batman?

This is where Byte Size Impressions come in. A new Batman game might be in development, which would be set in the not-so-far future. The protagonist would be Bruce Wayne’s son, and Gotham wouldn’t be evacuated, which means there would be signs of life in the city. The game might also see day and night cycles as well as an upgradable Batcave. The Batmobile would probably be replaced by the Batcycle. Who would the developer be? Rocksteady has stated that they want to work on something else.

Another game is also rumored to be in development featuring the Suicide Squad, but no information is known about this yet.

We’ll see if these rumors are true or not – take them with a grain of salt.
