Silent Hills-Inspired Allison Road Hit The End Of Road!

After Silent Hills, we had high hopes for Allison Road, but unfortunately, this game is also dead.

Last year, Konami put Silent Hills on thin ice, followed by getting rid of Kojima, as well as Guillermo Del Toro, one of the main people of the game, turning his back on the gaming scene. Not only that but Konami also got rid of P.T. on the PlayStation Store. The emptiness was meant to be filled by Lilith’s Allison Road – the game started out on Kickstarter, but it was taken off from the site as Team17 of Worms fame has picked the team up to help development. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, plus there were talks of PlayStation VR-support as well.

Unfortunately, the announcement came on Twitter that the project is now canceled, and a statement will follow in the next few days. We don’t know what happened yet – did Team17 believe it was too big of a game for them? Did Lilith have their aim set too high? We may never know.

And now, a moment of silence for Allison Road.

Thank you.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
