Two Episodic Games Offer Their First Episode For Free! [VIDEO]

Two recent episodic games’ first chapter can be downloaded for no cost.

However, one of them require you to have Windows 10 (this one would be Minecraft: Story Mode), but to be fair, we’re going to talk about this offer as well. Attention, this offer is active until July 29 – if you have W10 already, all you have to do is click here and claim the Telltale title’s first episode.

With the other episodic game, five platforms (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC) get the freebie right out of the bat. It’s Dontnod‘s excellent Life is Strange – the first episode, called Chrysalis, is already free to download. While Max’s adventures start out slowly, the later parts of the plot make up for the somewhat sluggish beginning. (As of writing this article – 10:45 AM CET – the episode is not free yet. However, according to PC Gamer , it will be free from later today.)
