Lost Soul Aside is mostly the work of a single person, and despite it being in prototype format, it already received significant attention on YouTube!

We should remember Yang Bing’s name (as well as probably a follow Twitter), because the game, which has been an independent project for two years, already caught the community’s eyes.

In the video, we can already see cutscenes, and gameplay, so Lost Soul Aside isn’t at an early stage in its development. The combat system also doesn’t seem to be something basic, but if you played with DMC or Ninja Gaiden titles, you might be familiar with it.

Unreal Engine 4 is becoming popular as time flies by, making the free-to-download engine widely used by garage developers. Epic Games’ kind-hearted move seems to be a great idea for them in the long term, especially if we see such high-quality games as Lost Soul Aside!
