South Park: The Fractured But Whole’s Parody Of Oculus Rift [VIDEO]

Warning: may or may not be suitable for watching!

South Park does a clever jab at the hype for virtual reality, and it does in its unique way!

Ubisoft created the Nosulus Rift, which needs to be plugged into the player’s nose to sense the farts in the game. As Ubisoft San Francisco’s senior producer, Jason Schroeder thinks that the only way they can experience the superpowers of the new kid is to make the the brave who try the Nosulus Rift smell everything up close and personal.

Ubisoft worked together with Jurgen Bischoff and Japanese design consultant Nakata Tuobashi. Bischoff had to smell over a thousand farts to create the Fartgrance, which is used in the Nosulus.

Fortunately, the Nosulus Rift is not for sale, so unless you go out to the Gamescom to try it out, you don’t end up seeing this product in stores anywhere!

South Park: The Fractured But Whole‘s release date is December 6, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
