Titanfall 2: No Disc Included In The PC Version’s Box?

Electronic Arts seems to not trust the PC owners at all…

Titanfall‘s second installment will be available on the PlayStation 4 too, not just the Xbox One and PC on October 28, but the PC platform might be held back a bit.

A box art has leaked of the PC version, which has a sticker: „Download only – No disc included.” That means we will only find a download code (probably for Origin) in the box, and then we’re forced to download the game digitally. We already saw even collector’s versions of games not including the disc (like Hitman), but even base editions seem to be affected by saving a few cents on manufacturing the discs.

This move means that Electronic Arts doesn’t think that the PC market is as important as the consoles’. Remember; the beta wasn’t available outside consoles!

If Electronic Arts confirms this „not-so-physical” choice, then collectors of CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays will be affected. If Origin disappears, how will we even get the game?!
