Europe Receives Sonic Mania's Collector's Edition, But...

Yes, but – it looks like SEGA left something out from the package…

Sonic Mania is going to be a classical style Sonic game, but it didn’t seem that Europe will receive the outstanding Collector’s Edition, and it’d stick to North America only. Fortunately, SEGA will bring it over to our continent as well. It will have the following goodies:

Deluxe “SEGA Mega Drive” style Collector’s Box
12″ Classic Sonic Statue featuring SEGA Mega Drive Base
Flip the power switch to trigger the “SEEGAA” startup audio
SEGA Cartridge Cast with Golden Ring
Metallic Collector’s Card plus Sonic Mania Download Code (digital game code)

That last point is important: Sonic Mania will not receive a physical version, so even if you fork up cash for the limited edition, you still have to download the game. It’s going to cost 80 British Pounds, and you can pre-order on Amazon .

Sonic Mania arrives in 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC – the last platform seems to not receive a Collector’s Edition.
